my preamp has a phase inwersion switch, but i never use it. because, altho i can sometimes hear a difference when switching back-n-forth, i can never discern any appreciable differences in any particular aspect of the sound to say one is better than the other. then, there's the fact that some software is phase-inwerted, some not, and there's some where the cuts within a specific disc, (both digital
and winyl), are randomly recorded w/their phase inwerted or not...
ymmv,

what interests me about the Lavry is the phase invert switch. Does anyone know of another similar priced DAC with phase invert?
What I need for quality is something that will be representative of the better DACs, so that I can plug (through a digital switchbox) 3 different digital sources and make valid comparisons about the sound, when mixing my recordings.
