Kidding aside, I'm always up for hearing new and different components.
Are these in the form of speaker connections, I/C's, Digital, or all of the above?
It would be great to audition them and hopefully we can get something together.

It's in the works to hold a meeting soon.

A fluid conductor. Yes. A MHD cable. Patent pending. Not frozen lattice structures, but a dynamic motional molecular fluid. Every single person who's heard them is totally blown away.

Yeah - I have been deliberating putting the bathtub between my speakers, filling it with high concentration salt water, connecting the amp on one end and the speakers on the other.

I am sure the sound will be very wet and fluid....

Sounds intriguing!! Now that all we need is a another TAAS gethering to check it out!  Hey, Sprit, any news on the next TAAS?  It has been a while since our last meet.
Looking forward to meet all the fellow members.

Ok. Let me know, with as much warning as possible. Weather is getting to the 'suck' part of the year, in the Montreal-TO corridor. Exhibit A, we're supposed to get 15CM (arf'a feet) tomorrow. I had a trip to TO planned-had to cancel.

KBK,

Thanks for dropping by and letting me "demo" your cables. Un-"freakin"-believable, I haven't stopped listening to music.
Definitely worth having a "get-together" of sorts for this.

Best Regards
Igor

It was good meeting you, Igor.

Yeppers..they tend to have that effect on folks. Even the most seasoned audiophiles and pro/engineers report the same effect.  Now you know how much 'solid wire' colors the sonics of what you hear. These cables are like the worst kind of addictive audio drug one can imagine - I'm sure you are quite hooked on the cables already. I know they keep even me up to like, 4am on a regular basis. Too darned tuneful to shut it down.

Thinking of a meet in mid Jan ...weather permitting. It would be about 1/2 hour north of the city. Have to talk to Sam and work out details.
Thought I'd throw that out there for preliminary planning.

Mid. January + 1/2 hour north of the city + possible bad weather = poor attendance.

Can we minimize the driving and is it possible to locate a venue in the heart of the city, accessible by GO Transit, TTC? I'd gladly chip in some $ to make this happen. There's got to be a church basement, or a meeting room in a not-too-expensive hotel, or something workable in this town.

Ideas?

Oh jeez, I ask for a little common sense when we are projected to have the worst winter weather in 5 years (and maybe saving some fossil fuel) and I get accused of being a wimp!  :(

So, I better come up with a venue idea

Not a wimp-a wuss.
Seriously though, it's not that far. 20 min. north of 401 on the 400. Then only another 3 min. west and your there!

Great idea Mark.
I have been to MarkC's Northern location and it is very picturesque.  A great place to have a winter get-together.
Mark - in case you dodn't get my PM - let's talk on the weekend.
Look forward to seeing this NorthRave happen and to seeing the guys!

Yeah, let's hope the weather co-operates. We're getting pounded early this year, so hopefully things will equal out and be tame for mid Jan.
Hope many can make it, we have room for about 15 people.
It'll be great to see Sam, Denny & all again.
