My favorite tube so far is the Amperex Holland ECC186/7316 PQ and the CBS Hytron 5814 is a good one. the Mullard CV4003 12AU7 is a great choice if you crave serious Midrange. to be perfectly honest the stock JJ Tesla 12AU7's that come from Odyssey sound great!my advice is to experiment with other types and draw your own conclusions and if you find the hot ticket let me know ...WCW III
