this is the latest design from Bert Doppenberg using the BMS 4592ND coaxial compression driver which was modified by Bert . this driver is a lot better then the previously used Lowther or AER drivers.
bass is the original oris compact with the bd bass driver.
bass cabinets were built from 1,25" thick particle board as recommended , finished in a beautiful teak veneer .
the bass is driven by two mono gainclone amps (included in the sale ), with caddock resistors and black gate caps , each with its own Alps Black Beauty attenuator and the bass filter built into the amp.
crossover for the BMS is outboard in a particle board box which can be veneered or painted.
color of the Horn is amber bronze automotive paint and was partly painted in a car paint shop and finished by myself.
this system was built in the last half year and just lately finished. the reason for selling is that i realize that i put way more money into this project than i initially thought.
because this system was built there are no boxes for it .
i would try to deliver the Orphean if you are not too far and will give a discount if you pick up .
if you know a reasonable packing service i might consider shipping.
