Daeva in house!

Just got the just-released Adire Audio Daeva in house.  I've been living it with a week, and it is a very impressive subwoofer.  Here's a pic:

The specs:
Price: $599
F3: 23Hz
Driver: 15" Adire Tempest
Amplifier:  Adire DT300 digital amplifier - 300 watts of class D power
Crossover: 3rd order (18dB octave) slope, variable from 50-150 Hz
size: 21" cube

The sound:
Very musical, very tight bass, that plays LOW.  Bass is even more musical than the Rava, and is very enjoyable with both acoustic and electric bass.  Adire really has the sound quality aspect of bass drivers nailed.

Home theater usage is also excellent, thundering out some serious volume in the 20+ Hz range.  Walls, windows, and internal organs will rattle.

The built-in Class D amplifier is a really nice touch.  At 90+% efficiency, it never gets hot or has an annoying fan during long bass heavy scenes.  During the Balrog scene of FOTR, it consumed only 20 watts of power on my power meter.  At normal music levels, it consumes around 16 watts.  If you're into efficiency, class D is the only way to go.
