Clearing out a few music CD's. The *Josee Deschenes* - What It Is CD is a unique Jazz CD. As one member mentions below, it is very "electronic" but will give your system a run for it's money. Many have used it as a show reference due to it's strong bass content.

The CD is well recorded and somewhat 3 dimensional I might add. I love the ambiance, her voice so seductive.
I hear black background instruments that seems to come from the air. Definitely there is depth, sound staging and coherence.
The CD hit the sweet spot of my Sonus Faber speakers and BAT setup.

........the CD from Bill at Response Audio got some airtime. The recording was very good, with excellent range, tone and body. It was a little more "produced" than most of the stuff I usually listen to, but a nice collection of tracks to show off a system. Musically, it represented a talented singer mixing a smooth-jazz genre with R&B sensibility..
