We opted for the Narrows, through the water, but were too exhausted the next day to try and take on Angels Landing. Beautiful pictures

Colorado River Gooseneck Overlook - Dead Horse Point State Park

Shafer Trail is in the foreground and seen winding up to the Canyonlands NP plateau on the far right. I was on that road later in the day.

Love your photos. I attempted to go to Long Dong Silver Spire and Bentonite Hills in April this year. There was a dust storm going out to the spire, I couldn't see 12" in front of my Outback let alone the road. I did a 3-point turn around and got out of there. The Fremont River ford at Hartnet Road was flowing pretty good after the previous days rains. I didn't do the wet tennis shoes depth test because I know from living in Tucson that 12" of fast flowing water can float a vehicle. The Bentonite Hills will still be there for another trip, plenty of other stuff to do. I drove to Duke's Slickrock Grill in Hanksville for a Buffalo burger instead.

Swing Arm City - the hills were deserted when I was there. I didn't attempt to find out how high the Outback would go before rolling over.

Celebrating Americas 250th, several of my fellow retired RR buds met this past Tuesday outside Harrisburg , Pa to witness 'Big Boy' cross the Susquehanna river at Rockville bridge, the longest stone arch bridge in the world. While all the videos have been great, seeing and hearing it in person was tops !
