Hi all.

What is the most popular and aboundant food/dish in Vietnam?

I told my wife that we should replace our dog with this little one.
She said: NO !

I told her that a small four legged friend like that would eat like a tweety bird,
will not bark all the time and would take only one minute to wash
and would not have fleas...
You see, only advantages !
She said :
I will kill you if you get one of those discusting thing in the house.
Case closed.

Being on vacation gives me more time to play with cameras, unlike at home when I feel guilty for "playing around" too much.

By the way, that creature is a 'Hummingbird Moth'. A rather large and intimidating insect, and very curious. The combination is fairly annoying at night when you can't hear them coming and they smack you in the face at full speed. What's really gross is the fact that they take a dip in the pool. Then they fly into your face. At night the unexpected wet smack in the cheek is rather disturbing.

That 85 years old widow women walk every day 5 to 10 kilometers
to sell her lottery tickets.
No support of any kind from the Vietnamese communist government.
My wife give her extra money, plus she buy her lottery tickets,
give her some clothing and food.

There are still a lot of those not too clean public markets.
Now, the government health inspectors are forcing them
to put the produce on something,
at least 10cm away from the ground.

selling gasoline by the liter.

I am also enjoying your photographs. Please post more. I like that you post one or a couple at a time so I have a little treat to look forward to.

I liked the "before" picture of the motorbike loaded with beverage cases. Do you have an "after" photo? Like after the driver tries to turn the first corner.
