I really dig the lines, PhishPhan.  I'm very envious of you photographers, I'm having a hell of a time getting the sky right in any of my pics.

Somewhere in this creek is a rear element lens cap for a Nikkor 65mm ƒ4.  Doh! :duh: This particular one was shot with the 90, though.  Note to self: put reflective tape on black things that can be dropped.  I even took drphoto's 210mm Fuji with me on this outing for a change which was similarly dropped onto large, impervious boulders and washed downstream.  Just kidding, it's fine! :P  Those shots are on color film though, will have to wait and see how badly I misjudged the exposure on those.  It would seem my meter battery died.  Damn.

This is real eye candy, I dig it a lot!

Nathan - those look like one side of a sun dog. The phenomenon is related to the optics associated with rainbows.

I like the composition. Though I did move as it was above my head, so it's a bit blurry.

I don't think I've seen that kind of fruit before.  Looks almost like a pebbly skinned fig, but I don't think you see fig trees bearing figs in the winter with no leaves.

Here's a picture that Levi took at last weekend's NY RAVE. I have no idea what he uses for gear but I was floored by the resolution considering it was taken from about 2' away from an adjoining recliner on the spur of the moment. The high resolutiuon of this picture became all too real when I had an 8 x 10 photo made today for my bedroom wall. Hope ya'all like it. :thumb:

I debated on whether or not to crop out the sharp leaves and sticks on the bottom.  I guess they are ultimately distracting given the softness of the rest of the image, but I opted to burn them down instead.  I also took this shot on Porta 160 and Velvia 50 (there was some fairly nice golden\amber foliage reflecting in the water) so time will tell if those worked or not.  I haven't shot print film in decades, much less sheet film.  It will be interesting to scan.  I'm pretty sure the Velvia will be hosed.
