Spectacular shots! What lens did you use to capture those? I'm guessing you were a lot further away than it looks?
Thanks ACHiPo!Yea, I was just under 9 feet away from the dragonflies. Much closer and they scare, and therefore fly away, easily. The photos were shot with a Tamron 150-600mm lens at between 550-600mm on a full-frame camera.
Wow that's a hunk o glass!
Those rides are going way too fast! Cool shots, Guy
Brooklyn, those two pictures of the 4th of July fireworks are really nice. In the past I did lots of fireworks pictures and my exposure time (100 ISO) was between 2-4 seconds.By the way, just a constructive criticism:You've cropped too tight, I mean, the top of the fireworks is chopped off.Next year, your 4th of July fireworks pictures will be perfectinstead of very good.Guy 13
Chip: The image of the bike on the beach at sunset is classic... romantic. Nice capture.
Oregon Coast. Oh, how I love thee!Thank you, Chip!
