I am also enjoying your photographs.  Please post more.  I like that you post one or a couple at a time so I have a little treat to look forward to.

I liked the "before" picture of the motorbike loaded with beverage cases.  Do you have an "after" photo?  Like after the driver tries to turn the first corner.

A reporter/journalist in my home country Canada,
told me once that you should always have with you and/or on you a camera,
even if it's a cheap one, to be ready for some unusual opportunity shot.
I did not follow his advice and by doing so,
I've miss lots of what could have been great shots.
That Vietnamese with his beverage cases, like many other like him,
have God beside them, look as if they never drop them,
however, I've seen with my own eye a motorbike flipping on his back
while taking off too fast on a green light.
I've seen some other trying to go under something and did not make it
and a guy with an all glass counter flipping on it's side
and glass shatter all over the street.
It's normal for motorbikes to carry small refrigerator, washing machine,
even 50" flat screen TV with out any sort of attachment,
only holding the handle bar with one hand and holding the cargo with the other hand.
I'm telling you, there is a God or a Buddha for those guys...
I must admit that they are pretty good at holding their balance with that type of cargo.
I will post later on, something I did to imitate those Vietnamese cargo haulers...

Thanks, that's the idea for posting those pictures.
Enjoyment and knowledge about a different culture.
I think when I will retire, if I retire one day, sure don't look like that right now,
I will write a 500 pages biography with 1000+ picture of my life, misery and special experience
on planet Vietnam.

Hi all.
I've heard thru the grape wine that soon Audio Circle will move his facilities/head office to this place.
It's a great place, it's inexpensive, no need air conditioning or heating, well, there no electricity anyway
and for water, well there a several bottled water companies here.
Two floors, ground and first, so plenty of room for expansion.
Lots of fresh air (Country side) and a magnificent view from a mountain top.
No mosquitos, not enough air for them at 3500 feet elevation.
The only downside, there is only one Audio Circle member on planet Vietnam.

This is in Dalat City, 6 hours drive from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) where I live now.
But believe me, it's worth the trip via twisty roads in the mountains.

Hi all.
If you want a nice sidewalk in front of your property, well, you do it yourself
and that's what most people do, at least in the suburb, not downtown.



I would sure like to have one of those micro wave telecommunication tower
on my house and why is that?
They give you 500 USD a month to do nothing.



A lot of advertising regarding Aids.
There is a surge in drug in Vietnam.

Celebrate alone that is,
because my Vietnamese wife is not allowed to see what I post on AC.
If all the AC members enjoy/like my posts/pictures, then, I am in haven,
but I am realistic and I know very well that will never happen,
because there are some AC members that don't like me,
they don't like me so much, that they get up in the middle of the night to hate me more...

Double hat, hard and soft, but sandales, open plastic shoes.

Many markets are still like that one.
Fresh chickens, fish, eggs, etc... In the open air at 30C+
with plenty of dust all day long and you klnow what?
I am surprised that there are not more people sick or dead.
Yes, there are a lot of clean super markets like:
METRO, CO-OP mart, Big C, etc...

The photo was taken in "Hatch" (as in the type of pepper) New Mexico. I bough one of those bunches of Serrano peppers from the fella on the left.
