Hey!

    As for shooting, I always shoot RAW. I'm still using LR4 and I have to say that the options fro converting color to B&W is quite mind boggling.

    I usually go to HSL to desaturated all color than either B&W or Luminance to adjust each color. Honestly sometime I find the whole thing a bit too much sometime... I keep going back and playing with those slides over and over. 

   Anyway, nice selective color there.

Same - I use LR4. I do my conversion just by using the Black and White tab and then adjust to taste with curves and sliders. If I am using the Sigma Software, I do my B&W conversions there first, then adjustments in LR. I actually prefer the B&W conversions in the Sigma software. But I do agree, the choices in LR are staggering. I usually do a few different looks before deciding on the final. Sometimes that choice is a difficult decision.

Here is a fun shot from my traveling days back in the mid 90's.  Me on the right.

I had been teaching English in Taiwan, and 2 friends and I headed out for some South East Asian mountain biking.  This shot is waiting for the ferry to Koh Samui after a long bus ride down from Bangkok. 

We later went to India and rode over the Rohtang Pass, which was a REAL grind.  Impossible to be ready for the Himalaya!

I currently have a brush cut, and have since 1997, so this pic always gets a huge laugh these days...

On the picture you really don't look like someone that own
and drive a Thunderbird !
That's something I would have liked to do, biking in Asia.
I only did it once in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)
and it was no fun in the crazy traffic,
plus it's also quite dangerous...
However, from the age of 13 to 18 I did lots of biking with friends
on the roads of the beautiful province of Quebec.
