Just touched down from taking a pretty cool flight and had to get a pic of my truck next to the biplane we rode in.

Scott, is that a '66 F100 or a '65 or '67?

My Dad had a '66 F100 when I was a kid.  It was a long bed and had a 352 cubic inch V8 with a 3-speed manual (3 on the tree).    His was red on the main part of the body with white around the cab.

Hey,

Mine is a '65. It started life as a 6 cylinder but now it's got a pretty healthy 302. She's putting out just north of 350hp. I just swapped trannies for a built AOD then beefed up the 9" rear end, installed 370s and posi. It runs pretty darned well.

Hi Bob,

It's a Waco UPF-7. It has great sound and just putts along. I was amazed on take off, I bet it was up in the air in maybe 200'. Tons of fun...especially upside down :thumb:

Scott, it's very creative of you to paint your truck with the same paint scheme you had your plane painted. That's very cool.

Hey everybody,

I'm really excited to be able to share this... You know how I've posted some photos of Hummingbirds recently. Well, a couple of weeks ago, we were very fortunate and extremely privileged, I might add, to have a sighting of one of the rarest Hummingbird varieties of all: The Elusive, Rare "Sweet Potato" Hummingbird. Known mostly by legend, very few people have ever actually seen one. Amazing!  :o

At one time they were actually quite numerous with migrating flocks in the millions until people discovered how tasty they are.
