What do you guys recommend to power a 95db speaker. I am looking at getting the Silver Iris OB speaker. So all I need is like 10-25 wpc, and at least 3 inputs.

Thanks,

denjo

CAD 300 SEI
15 watts per channel, Single Ended Triode design, Pure Class A, Integrated Stereo Amplifier with 300B output tubes. 3 stereo input pairs, Standard with remote volume control. Metallic blue chassis with clear coat finish. ZERO feedback design.

Nice piece, I heard one a couple of months back with a pair of floor model Triangles (don't remember which model).

The RWA sig30 is quite nice,   I tried it with my hawthornes ( just for 15 minutes)

It sounded fine,  smooth .   A bit laid-back for my tastes .  I pre fer my trends ta-10 (with obbligatoos)  because it sounds a bit more lively.      It's not a  smooth and not as detailed (I think) but it does rock.

I like the Trends ta-10, but only has one input. Can you use theses as mono block with a preamp.

Thanks,

Go with the rebuilt Scott integrated but be prepared to engage in a learning experience. Excellent sound quality for the price. :thumb:

Ill be happy to take some for you...
Im just finishing up issue 10.  By Monday
Ill have a life again!  If you are interested in the amp,
just pm me with your email address and Ill get some
off to you.

I love the amp and had a local tech that I really trust
go over it, but I'm just never going to have time to
get to this!  I'd much rather it go to a good home
that will enjoy it than be a museum piece here!!

Well I think I will be going with the Trends TA10. I think I will use the volume control bypass and use a preamp to gain more inputs. I was also think I could get two TA10 and then have monoblocks with a pre amp. If I went with the monoblocks how would I wire it, would I need y splitters.

A used Audio Refinement Complete integrated (alpha)--should be had for under $550. A SS integrated with only 50 wpc, but very smooth and lively. Designed by YBA, with excellent parts for the $, made by Vincent.

the trends is quite nice,   get a tvc pre-amp and you'll have a really good setup.
