Hello Alan Marshall from Fort Worth here.

Retired, just starting to build my system. Had a great visit with Danny at GR Research, he checked out some older B&W 685 speakers that I had, they didn't check out very well. I believe I am going with X-LS Encore floor standing, small apartment. Maybe a PrimaLuna EVO 100 Tube Integrated Amp and Bluesound Vault 2i to start, opinions?

Hi, I'm Jon from Weatherford.
I've been playing music and messing around with audio since ... for ever. I'd like to meet others with similar interests.

That would be nice, but I am housebound looking after my 91 year old wife who has Alzheimer's.

I drive to Ft. Worth every 4-6 weeks going to my daughter's place.  There is a record store in Abilene that often supplies big band music to one of the local retirement homes.  I know the owner well.  If there is any vinyl music that your wife or you enjoys, I'd be happy to drop some by.

Thank you for your kind offer. Long story short, I don't do vinyl anymore. l have hundreds of CD tracks on the computer. I start it up in the morning on random play and my wife and I enjoy continuous, familiar music through the day. I think it helps her and I know it helps me.

Hi everyone , I am Lazar from Flower Mound .

My system is turned on by all day and night with nice background music, mostly jazz .

I am working from home and that is the must have option for me .

My system is very simple :

DAC Gustard A22(AKM) -> Schiit Freya Plus -> Parasound A21 -> Ascend Sierra 2EX + SVS SB 3000

I am using ROON and his DSP implementation to integrate subwoofer.

I'm of the opinion that the three-way-system speakers would work better for quiet listening, which is unfortunately very important when you live in buildings with poor sound insulation. This is a main reason why I considering to change my  two way system's Ascend's loudspeakers.

Where would I be able to hear the KEF R3 here in the DFW area but in good conditions ?

Denton J - Jeremy - Denton.  I'm interested in listening to some Nx Otica's if anyone is available.  I won't be back in Texas for a month, I often travel for my job.
