Scene:
[three members of a firing squad standing idle and chatting to themselves, to the left and slightly behind a high- end two channel stereo system]:
"I miss the good old days when they just got a blindfold, a cigarette, and some last words."
"Yeah, now they get a blindfold, a refreshing beverage of their choice, and a comfy-chair."
"They can't get a cigarette anymore, though, bad for their health."
"Yeah...so, what did he do?"
"Multiple counts of aggravated 1st degree speaker leaning."
"Jeez..."
"And he was also witnessed on several of those occasions wearing... silly hats."
"Oh, God!"
"Uh, so how do we know when to carry this out?"
"As soon as he's done listening to How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling Place from Brahms A German Requiem, Robert Shaw conducting, Telarc label"
"Right, nice selection of music although I personally prefer the Deutsche Gramophone version with Claudio Abbado conducting. I think he gets more emotion out of the soloists."
"Yeah... you know, it seems kind of a shame he doesn't seem like such a bad sort. You know what his last words were? He thanked everyone for coming and wished them all a Merry Christmas."
"Yeah, well don't forget the silly hats!"
[Everyone attending the execution rave were suddenly startled when multiple shots were fired from the executioners guns well before the song had ended]
