Security issues are really total nonsense. If you don't go asking (looking)for trouble, you wouldn't have any with any OS. A good anti-virus and anti-spy ware and you're safe forever on any one person machine. The only thing that no one seems to know how to stop is spam. It justs seems to slip thru any filter! Just to add some pepper to the pot, I really like the speed and look and feel of the latest Linux distros. So far it behaves flawlessly.
