http://www.woodcraft.com/family.aspx?FamilyID=5853Well people who have asked about finishing veneer or paint we have a possible solution.
We ordered this HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) system which came from WoodCraft for $89.00 on sale.Just to see what can you get for $89.00 from a complete HVLP sytem for that little money.
A deal to say the least is the best way to say it.
This system comes complete all you will need less the finish you would like to use.If that is Lacquers or Shellac you will get great results with this small HVLP system.
Nothing fancy here you just mix you finish which ever you pick, with a thinner to the correct viscosity in the spray gun. Then attach the pressure hose from the pressure base and the other end of the 15' hose (yes 15' of hose) to the spray gun.
Plug in the spray system and you are ready to spray.
The results are stunning for a small system which you will use over and over for less than $100.00.
For those looking at how to apply finish to any speakers you may veneer or want to spray a painted finish.
Have a look at this HVLP system aa
The info below is direct off Woodcrafts site.
Yes, that's the correct price. We were equally surprised when we had a chance to test this system. The results weren't just passable, they were actually very good.
Thin your finish to the proper viscosity (viscosity cup and thinning ratios included) and you'll get high quality coverage from stains, lacquers, water and oil-based finishes every time. HVLP stands for High Volume Low Pressure.
