Hi rollo and other gentlemen,

When Rollo showcased his TVC at one of our meetings, I was very impressed with the TVC, and have been doing some homework to preparing for ordering one from Nick.  When I heard Rollo's earlier unit, I was very impressed with its dynamics.  My primary concern is how it may or will alter the sound vs. my present tubed-preamp-based system.  With tubed preamplification, it goes with my preference for the richness in the mids.  I had solid state preamps before settling down with a tubed pre stage.  So, I would like to see if you gentlemen, or ladies (if there should be any in this dicussion thread), can spill the beans on the sound with respect to the mids?  If any of you folks had also a tubed preamp before getting the TVC, your comments would be terrific.  Thanks much.
