Juan that is one of the best looking rigs I've seen.  And the 8thNerve products don't seem to detract aesthetically.

But why the panels behind the sofa?? :?:

ALthough it looks like a "very" live room, it appears that the area behind the sofa is quite open.

To be honest , my wife did not speak to me for over a week because of the room tretment. Behind the sofa there are floor stander, specially made  for room to open to another, this room open to a great room of 25x35x22. Yes was a very live room, BUT NO ANYMORE.

Looks nice, I hear ya with the WAF though, my wife isn't so keen on room treatments...she has seen in advance.  But she is an artist so I expect her to make them look nice. That doesn't quite go over yet.

That mirror behind the speakers....

If you feel like it Juan,  try listening without that mirror behind your speakers. I have a big hunch that it will improve your sound even more--considerably: less smear, etc...

But.....I don't know if you can get away with it.  8)

Cheers,
Bill

Yep, that and the floor bounce (which shouldn't be too bad with ribbons) would sew it up tight.

How would your wife like a beautiful new area rug between the couch and speakers?

One reason I was able to get away with Echobusters is that they have lots of different colors of fabrics you can choose from.  The 8th Nerve products are quite small though... I'll see what more I can do!

The area rug is in transit after long debate about the selection. About the mirror,  will be another fight.

Perhaps a nice, intricate tapestry ... with a custom 8th Nerve panel behind it! :P

I am going to Santa FE next month, may get a nice canvas and this will be the excuse for the mirror replacement.

Sorry for letting the cat out of the bag, but Eighth Nerve will soon be releasing special black velvet Elvis pictures incorporating room treatment.
Two versions will be available--a narrow 2" deep pic  (tentatively called "Early Elvis") and a room-width 12" deep pic ("Late Elvis").

So, tell us about the sonic differences.

I am very intersted in these treatments, and your installation is fantastic.

First, I had problem with echo, who in my opinion is gone, mid and low bass improvement notable, also I can listen at lower volume with  even better instrument separation and clarity.  Feel like the music stay in the room.
