Ok.  Don't forget Kevin Deal's tester.  If it does not match then he is ripping me off too.
Well that would be everyone which is very bad.

Hi Buddy,

I have a couple of new old stock matched 6922 Amperex PQ USA tubes that you can use as a reference.
3 pairs of matched 6H23/6922 Rocket Logo from upscale audio also you can test with your tube tester.
I am sure Kevin has a good tube tester you can match against your tube tester as a reference. :D

Hey!

Now that would be one of the biggest rip off in audio world's history!

I think he is fine. I've bought tube from him once before. Kindna pricey there but he dose have good selections of nice NOS tube

Anyway, when you want to stop by with those tubes from eBay. :D

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Yup, those will do :D All I have to do is convert the scale reading of the TV-7 to mOhm scale.

Buddy,
A reading of 50 on the TV7 scale for a 6922 translates to 6250umhos.  A reading of 88 = 11000 umhos and a reading of 90 = 11250 umhos.

I have lots spare of tubes I can bring over.  I just bought a set of tubes for my McIntosh MC-60 monoblock.

Gary is a very knowledgeable guy.  Remember his DIY DAC?

Yeaaa....let all head over to Buddy and have our tubes tested.   :icon_lol:
Hey if you are still having that mini rave next week I can bring over some recent pairs of NOS 12AU7 tubes I bought from a very reputable dealer. Also a 'matched' quad of power pentodes I bought last year which I don't think was really matched, and did feel ripped off about.
Its funny but I did pick up a couple of tube testers off eBay over a year ago but never used them. Mhnnnn...

Hey!

Well, if you are not using them than sell them on eBay. The price is much higher now than couple of years ago. :?

What model do you have anyway?

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

PS
Yes, the Mini-Rave is still on for next Sunday. Will update you guys on my Mini-Rave thread soon.
