Hi EchiDna,
I’ll be stop by Singapore for a few days around Nov. The family is heading back M’sia for a month holiday.
I am wondering how is the component price in S’pore compared to US. Things like RCAs (male & female), exotics caps and resistors like BG, Nichicon, Riken Ohms, Kiwame etc.
Also, which shop would you recommend. I’ll be staying with my brother who know the place well.
Cheers,
Sam

actually one of the best regional DIY shops is Octave Electronics, located near KL in Malaysia... I buy stuff there on every trip North

the other favorite is KOBA Electronics in People's Park, Chinatown... you have to search but they have all types of exotica there...
Hope that helps,
