No dates yet on the LS6, let alone the LS9 from Mark and the boys at AV123.

They cross at 1kHz. Acoustic slopes are near 4th order but the electrical order is not near that high.

There are prototype photos on page 2 however those do not represent the finished product. Page three (http://www.av123forum.com/showthread.php?t=13909&page=3) has some photos of more recent samples from the factory.

Thanks, that does help. I'm blind so can't see the pictures or the drawing PDF on Danny's site, but depending on how much rear clearance is needed for the ports, this could possibly work in my room.

Of course this is all just dreaming at this point. Anyway, I live just down the road (figuratively speaking) from your wharehouse (I'm in Boulder), so when they come out it won't be too much of an ordeal to get a pair for audition here, and there will be no need to deal with a freight company.

Looks like they're about the same weight as my JBL L-300s, but in a much friendlier form factor, and I won't even talk about the other differences

The fact that you are local is very advantageous! You can try a pair in your home and if they don't work out for you, you can return them for a 100% refund

Well guys, I order these kits from Danny quite awhile ago, but I am now getting around to building them. I expect to be finished with construction by the fourth with a few weeks worth of sanding and painting after that. Looking for a full completion by August 1st. Enjoy,

Thanks Danny....Sorry its taken so long, but I had some other projects ( Dining Room Cabinet, Kitchen Table) to complete before I could start on these. They are coming together nicely...going with a piano black finish...will post more pics later.

Thank you for your kind comments. I live in small town just outside of St. Louis, called Wentzville: The home for many years to Chuck Berry. George Thorogood wrote a tribute song to Chuck called "Back to Wentzville" on his Bad to the Bone release.

I am gearing up to complete the fabrication today and tomorrow, so I should be able to give them a test soon!
