'Sustained plateau biasing' , who do they pay for this kind of marketing work? I've thought about anything alse I've heard that even comes close, and I can't think of anything. Perhaps they could do a funky name for a power supply using dual bridge rectifiers, then Dejan we could form a patnership and sell it for megabucks! ThanksRaj
QuoteMaybe "Ultraliear supranormal Mains line signal suppressor", or some such.Cheers,DVVWell I quite like that ! How about just a sprinkling of further bs, Real-Time Ultralinear supranormal Mains line signal suppressor - Floating Earth (tm)

Hello: I just thought I would post something to try to get a response or an opinion about amps I am thinking about purchasing.I am thinking about getting the new nOrh amps that are just about to come out ,but I will wait till I get some on them before making the purchase though.Of what Michael C. Barnes of nOrh has revealed they shall be capable of competeing with Highend designs like Berning. With the cost between $400-$600 for a Monoblock set they might be exactly what I am looking for to power my NEAR M50's which shall come with a outboard XO for Vertical amplification.Question I have is ,if you were to Vertical amp speakers which type of amps would you choose? What class-A,A\AB,D?Would you mix the Manfs.?The new nOrh's are Cl.A pre-driver stage to Cl.A\AB output driver stage amps. I have always thought that Cl.A would give you the cleanest power and best for musicality, but suck Juice like there is no tomarrow which make them a real drain to use. I did consider Monarchy's ,but I think that it's to expensive to use them.I have been told that the speakers are compatible with amps by Aragon,Atma-Sphere,Krell and B&K.Some of these are mighty expensive and would really not be cost effective for Vertical amping. So if you can give me any guidance help on this I would appreciate it! TIA
