Hi Randy,

So to be nosy, what transformers did you get? Just to get an idea how much was that HS you got?

Ray

Ray,
I picked up a few of the signal transformers BL1752Apex has listed on his site,
Signal BL1752
 Primary 230V Secondary 48VCT 7A & 28VCT 3A
or Primary 115V Secondary 24VCT & 14VCT
 $7.95

They are nice for $8.  I am going to use one for a DAC I am currently building.  Way, way overkill, but I like that   aa.  I may rebuild my Squuezebox PS with another of them.

I also picked up a couple 35VAC center tap transformers he had, rated at 10A.  Last two, and I bought them.  They were not on his website, he has a lot of stuff not on his website.  I am going to use one for a mini aleph.  2nd one would probably be used in the future for some kind of small aleph based design.

For larger heatsinks, he charges $4 or $5 per lb, so it was around $50 or $60.  He is sending me an invoice, and I don't remember the exact price.

Also picked up a bunch of some 12,000 uf Nichi's he is selling for 50 cents each, also for my Aleph.  Some other odds and ends too.

Hi Randy,

What's the website, or if you got a phone number? Any cases?

Don't know if he carries cases.
Heres the website link
http://www.apexjr.com/
There is a phone number on the site.  Call him if you don't see it on the site, he has a bunch of stuff.

He sells to people all over, I am kind of surprised you don't know him.

Hey Ray!

I think Greg has already checked out the diyenclosures offerings, sounds like they are a fit with an aluminum strap to tie the sinks together... http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=33531.0

Hi,

When trying to open the above link and one or two others in this thread, I get a dialogue box saying; "The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you".  Is anybody else having the same problem?

Cheers.

More than a few threads and posts have been moved in a general reorganization, I can't even find the thread I was linking to!  It was the DIYEnclosure thread in the industy ads circle... seems to have gone missing  :?
