Hi Julie,

Yes we will be showing the final prototype CD player at CES in Vegas next week. It will be called the Bryston DM-1. If all goes well we are building 50 units to start in February which are preordered. We will then shortly thereafter be offering just a DRIVE version and later an Outboard DAC.

Sorry no pictures at this point as we are still playing with some of the graphics. It is the same size and style as the C-Series BP26 but about 1/2 inch taller.

Should be by now as according to this press release it will be paired in the below noted system.
"New THIEL CS3.7 & SCS4 featured in live sound demo

January 2007: U.S. loudspeaker manufacturer, THIEL Audio will be featuring the much anticipated, floor-standing CS3.7 and the soon-to-be released SCS4 in a live multichannel music/home theater system being demonstrated at this year's CES, January 8-11, 2007, in Las Vegas. Our exhibit will be part of the new High Performance Audio & Home Theater venue at the Venetian Hotel.

New Venetian High Performance Audio & Home Theater Venue
The exhibitors formerly at the Alexis Park have moved to the Venetian Hotel which is attached to the Sands Convention Center. THIEL will be in Sands/Venetian Bassano 2601 on Level 2 where the traffic from the Sands Convention Center empties into the Venetian meeting room area. Also, please be aware that show hours at the Sands and Venetian are one hour earlier than the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). Our exhibit hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Partnering with Bryston, Synergestic Research & Sim2
We will be partnering with Bryston, Synergistic Research, and Sim2 in our new exhibit space this year. The active system will feature new products from all four companies including Bryston's new 28B SST 1000 watt monoblocks, new CD player with Bryston's discrete analog Class A output stage; Synergistic Research's new Tesla Series cables and interconnects featuring Zero Capacitance Active Shielding(tm); and Sim2's C3X , the world's smallest, state-of-the-art 3-Chip DLP based projector.

CS3.7/SCS4 System Demonstrations Conducted Throughout CES
The THIEL/Bryston/Synergistic Research/Sim2 system will be available for the press to experience throughout the show at the Venetian. The new floor-standing CS3.7, named as a CES Innovations Design & Engineering Award Winner for 2007, may be THIEL's finest loudspeaker ever. Product designer Jim Thiel says that the CS3.7 is "the most significant product introduction from THIEL in at least ten years" and represents the latest and greatest of his innovations, which have a long reputation for being cutting edge.

Unusual cabinet construction using curved sides and an aluminum dome and back as well as the CS3.7's radical and unique driver technology are at the heart of this exciting new product that promises to be superior to almost every loudspeaker on the market at this time. This new approach to driver design allows both the CS3.7 midrange and tweeter to operate as near-perfect pistons and deliver pure, distortion free sound that provides the listener with an experience approaching the excitement of a live musical performance. The CS3.7 is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2007 at a suggested retail price of $9900 per pair.

The 17.5" tall and 8.5" wide SCS4 is a versatile, two-way, bookshelf-sized speaker system uniquely suited for outstanding front, rear, or center channel use regardless of listener position or speaker location. The SCS4's high output capability and very high 90dB efficiency perfectly meet the demands of today's home theater systems, and its innovative, advanced driver design, based on product designer Jim Thiel's 30 year-experience, provides extremely realistic sonic reproduction.

"The SCS4's high efficiency, magnetic shielding, narrow shape, and very accurate reproduction make it perfect for use as a high performance center or rear channel speaker in home theater and multi-channel systems, " says company president Kathy Gornik. "However, the SCS4 is a remarkable all-purpose, full-range speaker as comfortable in demanding music systems as it is reproducing movie soundtracks. And we are able to offer it at a much more affordable price than previous THIEL models."
