Welborne Labs RC Attenuator Kit
« on: 18 Dec 2006, 06:03 pm »
Hi everyone,

Is there anyone here who might have built this kit from Welborne? I am building one, and am missing a couple of parts from the Attenuator board.

Specifically, the 20 pin DIP ICs, identified as U1 and U2 in the parts list, are missing in my kit. There is no schematic in the kit, nor are the part numbers for these ICs mentioned in the parts list. Can somebody who has built this attenuator please take a look and tell me what these ICs are?

Any help is appreciated. I have contacted Welborne, and am awaiting a response.

Thanks,

Ashok

I was looking through the different posts on the Welborne Labs RC attenuator, and came across this one.  I recently acquired a preamp with a Welborne Labs RC attenuator in it, but the unit did not come with the remote.  I was wondering if you had one, and if you have tried to use a different remote (learning or universal) with your unit.  If you have, any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I know this thread is really dated, but I am looking for any help I can get.

Thanks!
