thinking of embarking on my first diy project, and would like to replace the "wall wart" that comes with the channel islands headamp. they sell a separate psu for $159 - is it lunacy to build your own if you can buy one so cheaply. any help would be greatly appreciated. i'm a pretty handy woodworker, but never tried my hand at electronics...
