Wan ta' go there? Try some room treatment, a good electronic crossover, and biammp your VMPS speakers with a Parasound JC-1 solid state on the bottom and set of Kora Cosmos Reference monoblock tubes on the top!

I had the Kora Cosmos Reference amps running full range on my RM 40's and they just didn't do it for me in the bass department.

I do remember that they were very special on those ribbon panels.

Sounds like a great combo.  Only issue would be that between the Kora and Parasound amps, your room must be quite toasty!

Zybar,

I can't help but notice that you've had quite a number of amps in your system.  :o        How many have you had?
I believe you've got the Moscode now, right? Ever compile a list of what you've had over the years?

Cheers

You are right, George. Full range even the Reference model of the Kora is lacking on the bottom which of course is why the Parasound. But those mids and highs!!! They are better than either of two SETs I have. And yes, I don't have to worry about heating the listening room in the winter! aa

Paul,
What are you using as a digital crossover?  Does it use room correction?
