The PAS 3x is gone!  Next to go is "The Frankenstein" . But I thought I'd give Local Folk a chance
before I throw it on Fleapay.

For those don't know "Frankenstein", its a Stereo Universal DHT Parafeed SET Amp.
The amp is 6SN7 IT coupled to the Plate-loaded DHT power tube to
vintage Heath A-100 OPT's in Parafeed configuration with 4,8 and 16 ohm taps
It will put out any where from 2 to 8 watts per channel depending on the DHT power tube
   and its operating conditions
  It can use :
  10's, 45's, 50, 2A3, 6A3, 183/483, Vt-52, and 300B's. One power tube per channel two channels
independent of which tube is used.
The amp will come with a GZ37 rectifier
                                     (2) smoke glass RCA 6SN7's
                                      (2) Slyvania VT-52's
                                      (2) matched ST 45's
There's a lot to this amp but its easy to use and fun, but i don't do much tube rolling anymore.
So it just doesn't get much use, it a shame not to let someone else discover it's fun.

So If anyone in the GAS area that might be interested. Maybe we can make a deal, and a few
   extras for the local folk.
So send me a PM if you are interested.
    If no takers....
Dr, Frankensteen,............. will see the Auction Block!
       Have fun!
     Willie

If I wasn't moving into a smaller apartment to save for a house I would be all over this!
Good luck in the sale.

...and if I had speakers that I could drive with that kind of power I'D be all over it.  I still remember listening to it at Scott's when you put the 45's and 50's in.  The difference was amazing. Talk about synergy with the Lowthers!

Somebody is going to have a whole lot of fun with this.

I don't think it would be prudent to let it get out of our collective earshot.  Hope you gentlemen work it out.

Great stuff Willie- the  Franken-amp was awfully sweet at Scott's last year.  I hope you're holding on to that 845 a little while longer.

The 845's will be the next to go, but not yet!  Got to get Frankenstein a new home first!
   Thanks

Damn, Willie, yer killin' me!

I've been wantin' another big drink of 'ampahol' to indulge in around here, and here I am checking for change in the couch to get me to Denver this week.... :banghead:

If you've still got it when I get back, we'll have to talk...If Mark don't beat me to it.

"Ampahol...."  (in my very best Homer Simpson likeness, sans donuts!)
