Has PMC 'hifi' speakers faded in the press?
« on: 6 Oct 2006, 10:29 am »
OK I'm biassed and love my OB1  :green: so once in a while I'll search for new reviews, comments and comparisons but I noticed there's hardly any attention on the PMC 'enthusiast' range of speakers esp. the FB1+ and OB1 ??

There's hardly any reviews that match Bryston and PMC OB1 - is the 'story' true that some brands lobby the magazines more aggressively than others?

Anyway...if anyone in the music press reads this - give the OB1/4B-SST or 7B monos a real go !!!!!!!

James....you need to make more whoppeeee for people to sit up and listen

...I meant more specifically about joint PMC/Bryston (esp. OB1) reviews and not just Bryston amps.

Magazines will always want to review new products rather than established models.New models help sell magazines and thats what the publishers want.
Once PMC launch new models, the press will be all over them like a rash because they recognise a new speaker from PMC generates lots of interest.
