Hi kbuzz3,
Vinnie is probably on a well deserved weekend break
You don't know me very well, do you?

I WISH there was time for a break, but it'll be a while!

Nice speaking with you today and based on our conversation, I'd say your poor amp took a beating in shipping and my guess is a connection was broken. I'll take care of it for you ASAP....should be very easy. I'm glad that the unit was not cosmetically damaged because that maple enclosure is total eye candy

Regarding the binding posts, Louis uses Vampire posts and just like his speakers, he always makes the "+" post to the right when looking at the posts (from the back of the speaker or the back of the amp). The posts are marked RED and BLACK by vampire, so definitely follow that convention, where RED = + and BLACK = negative.
On the bright side, the sound I am getting even in this state, is all its cracked up to be. Destroys the flying moles i ran for a while.
Just wait until you get to hear BOTH channels.... you are in for a treat

Thanks for your patience and understanding with this. I will have it taken care of ASAP.
Enjoy your weekend,
Vinnie
PS: Thanks mpauly for giving kbuzz3 a suggestion while I was not on audiocircle last night...
