The power supply doesn't affect the amp assembly since it's only like 2" cubed.

So he fits everything (mono) into a 2" cube?

Wonder how big a toroid he uses?

Randy. . .

Not sure if that was meant as sarcasm, but in case, I will explain. . .

The amplifier assembly is like 2" cubed.  The toroid is much larger than the amplifier section, and placed in back of the chassis. . .

Hantra,
Did not mean it to be sarcastic when I wrote it, after I wrote it I thought about how small a 2 inch cube really is.

I guess I am having a little trouble visualizing what you have since the pictures I see on Scott's website do not match what you are describing to me.

One other question, how hot does it get?  The one issue I have heard about with these chips is you need to heatsink them good enough to get the heat out, or you might have heat problems at higher volume levels.

Still waiting to get pricing from Scott.  If I don't hear pretty soon, I may just go buy the stuff from digikey, and see how it comes out.

Randy, look at this. . .  This is from his site. . .

That's what it's like. . .  Heat is not a problem.  They get a bit hot at times when they aren't driving the speakers, but when you hook them up and play them, they don't get that hot.  The metal chassis dissipates it quite well. . .

Call him up and get info man.  Sometimes he gets busy, and behind on mail.  And like me, he can talk faster than he types. .  ;-)
