I believe that the benefit from twisting the + and - together is to help cancel out RF.
Antman, as far as bi-wire being better sounding, only you will know for sure with your kit in your room. From what I have read and heard, some speaks do sound better bi-wired. My Soliloquy's do. More sparkle in the top end and a more fleshed out midrange is what I hear. Little to no difference in the bottom end. Try it-you might like it!

I don't see them listed on the website, so they may not be making them anymore.

They do have the Blue Truth speaker cables on sale and they look to be well built. I can't comment on the sound, but there are some good reviews out there on them.

What ever cable you buy make sure you can return them if they don't get you the better bass you are looking for.

If your speaks are the one's I'm thinking of with the metal dome tweets, then I'd go for the warmest sounding cable I could find. I've heard them being driven with all solid state gear and no offence but it was like the tweets were sticking knitting needles in my ears.

I have a pair of Better Cables BlueTruth biwire 6 ft cables laying around. I haven't used them in two years. Nothing wrong with the sound..I just don't have the biwire type speakers anymore. Last time I used them, they were plugged to a pair of Paradigm 20v3. I took the bananas off the speaker end of the cables. So now there's bananas just on the input side of the cables and bare wire on the biwire ends. You can try them if you like... No strings attached. Just hit me up and we'll work out the details.

Antman asked about warm cables. My experience is that copper with Litz construction gives both warmth and detail. Audio Note Lexus speaker cable and Moon Audio Black Dragon are two i own that are warm and detailed and have this construction.

I hate to bring this subject back up again BUT here I go
I have been trying to learn asw much as I can about speaker cables & some foks have even been so nice to let me demo some cables they were not using .

I'm certainly no expert in cable geometry, but I believe that all oxygen free copper is, is that when the insulation is applied to the copper conductor all oxygen is removed during the process, (in a vaccum). It is the oxygen trapped between the insulation and the copper that will cause the copper to oxidize. Without the presence of oxygen, oxidation, (corrosion), cannot occur.

Really? I thought it was something to do with the way the copper is drawn, such that there are less oxygen bubbles/voids in the copper that can disrupt the signal flow, making it slightly less efficient and direct.

Generally speaking there are three levels of Cu alloys:

1) ETP Coppeer (CDA 11000): O2 content ranges from 0.02% to 0.05% or in other terms it is 99.95 to 99.98% free from oxygen

2) OFHC Copper (CDA 10200): minimum purity of 99.95% pure (including oxygen and any other metals)

3) Certified OFHC Copper (CDA10100): minimum purityf of 99.99% pure (as #2)

The real question is is whether or not you personally can hear the difference. The Belden 5000 series cables use ETP copper. I use the 10 Ga Belden cables with my speakers (VMPS RM40s) and the sound is excellent.

One other point to remember: Thicker wire (lower gauge) provides a higher overall damping factor (and tighter bass).

Lastly, if you want to improve the bass I would recommend a good used REL or ACI sub. Unless you are using extremely high gauge (thin wire) changing the wire will have a very small effect.
