Actually they are great for the cheap seats at concerts and for aging audiophiles who have lost their hi end hearing (Know anyone like that?)
But you look like a dork wearing them.
They are also good to use when "comparing" speakers to see just which one has the most high end extension, impact and response.
It is like wearing a pair of bi-focals for your ears.
But in the end, just cup your hands behind your ears and save $12.95. It's not like you will do this more than a few seconds anyhow.
