You've got brass balls, man. I like the extra-cryptic interface, so only

know how to use it. Sneaky! Are the black knobs wood or metal?

knobs are the stock aluminum ones that have a round indent - i drilled and siliconed the same brass furniture nails in that i used for the source selector spots-

thanx-
i just hope i didnt have it planed down too soon after glueing the pieces together-noticed a small split in the seam on one of the ends yesterday-12 hrs might not have been long enough-oh well live and learn-
also wish i had the knowledge and tools to do it with dovetail joints on the ends instead of the ugly butt joint-
the design works nice-easy access to the tubes inside and out-looks sweet with the extra tubes visable-
and it goes over the steel cover thats stock with the unit-makes me feel better if there was a fire of some kind inside-
btw -first time i used spell check-it doesnt like -thanx
