I just received my upsampler board and I am currently burning it in with the original 6922 Phillips Tubes so I can save my Siemens 7308 Tubes.

I did test the upsampler board with my Siemens and it improved the midrange and the bass as compared with the 627 opamp.  The pop vocals was musically accurate as though the performer was standing in front of you.  The soundstage is wider.  My older recorded cds sounded much better and the newer ones only marginal.

I have read that the upsampler will blossom at around 400-500 hours.  My unit needs only 480 more hours.

If you are leaning toward the purchase, buy now before Kevin raises the price because of the exchange rate.

By the time you get it broken in you'll be ready for the next upgrade  . I heard the price is going up  .  I just purchased the Odyssey Stratos amp and guess I'll just have to bite the bullet with the increase.  Thanks for your feedback.

I have been a Odyssey owner for the past two years.  I have the Stratos and the Loreleis and I will be mating this with a tubed preamp.  Hopefully the upgrade bug will stop for the moment.
