I highly recommend that you purchase ICs that are of adequate length. If they are too short, a definate reduction in signal transfer can be encountered. Tom

Apart from the IC between tone-arm and phono stage needing to be of a sufficient length (with an MM cartridge) to impart the appropriate capacitance, I've never heard anyone before say analogue ICs need to be of a certain length to do a good job?Can you explain more?Thanks,Andy

... just make sure you have a long enough cable to do the job, otherwise, it would be to short to hook up. ...Ray
Yeah, well ... OK, I didn't get the joke!! ( But, seriously, there are people out there who say an IC has to be a certain length for optimal signal transmission because of reflections/standing waves down the length (or something like that!).Regards,Andy
