Would you please recommend best interconnect?

I don't believe there are any "best"! It becomes what you want to spend and what you like with your system. I have tried several interconnects, none over $100 for a 6 footer and will never spend more for a interconnect than 8cds cost.
I have been very happy with "Signalcable" products and there service. Just my 2cents.

Best for what, making a ground connection? Digital? Analog? Video? Speaker wire? Best for less than $100 per meter or over $1000 per foot? RCA, balanced, pro/phono or BNC connectors? Shielded or unshielded? DIY, brand name or boutique?

Being a little more specific might be a good idea.

I agree with everyone.

You can spend lots of money or no money on a piece of IC. No matter which one you pick you need to make sure that you listen to it in your system. Synergy is important. I can suggest IC cable that works best in my system but it may not sound good in your system. A little trial and error in your part.

Putting the rest aside, try VH Audio ICs. It works well with my system and it does not cost a fortune.

Sorry for not quite clear on the question: The question should have been " the best value but good use interconnect" I look at singalcable and elementcables . They are reasonable price. I may give them a try.

Excellent cables and good value would be Gregg Straley cables. I bought the interconnects and speaker cables recently based on AC members recommendations.

I highly recommend that you purchase ICs that are of adequate length. If they are too short, a definate reduction in signal transfer can be encountered.

Mmmm, interesting, Tom ... I presume you are either tongue-in-cheek or are talking about digital ICs?

Apart from the IC between tone-arm and phono stage needing to be of a sufficient length (with an MM cartridge) to impart the appropriate capacitance, I've never heard anyone before say analogue ICs need to be of a certain length to do a good job?

Can you explain more?

Hi Unless I miss my guess, with a good laugh too, just make sure you have a long enough cable to do the job, otherwise, it would be to short to hook up. Also, you might try Guerrillaudio cables. He has a 45 day return policy. No, I don't own them.

very high performance good value cables are DH labs air matrix. they retail for $199.00 for a one meter pair and you can find them on audiogon for less than $150.00. they have worked well for me.

Yeah, well ... OK, I didn't get the joke!!

( But, seriously, there are people out there who say an IC has to be a certain length for optimal signal transmission because of reflections/standing waves down the length (or something like that!).

IMO the best bang for the buck analog interconnects are the Outlaw PCA's. Excellent material and build quality at a very reasonable price.

Save your money from the wire bandits.

Either get bluejeans cables or canare cables over at markertek.com. Either of those cables with a good placebo sugar pill and you should be happy and have more $$ to spend on SW which is supposed to be what this crazy hobby is all about.
