my room is only 15 by 18.Bill stated they will work in a smaller room too.most likely better in a bigger room.those speakers are 4 piece,so they at least come apart to get them through doorways.you can put them into the corner,a little toe-in and push play.is there any replacement for displacement???? :)  :)  :D  :D  :)  :)

I see Bill has these for sale.... http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=26713 .
I'd say they would be a better match for your amp and room.....and your back when you set them up....unlike the 600lb. Usher's.[/list:u]
But ....really helps to hear things....sorry you can't in your local.... :? [/list:u]

Having spent a lot of time in Lou's room at the last two RMAF, I can say that these would be a very good choice and they won't break the bank.

well that's the question i wish i could answer,do the D2's and Montana's WAS just blast ,or are they fine sounding as well???? one thing i do-not want is monitor sound,as far from that as possible.i think a 600 pound speaker is some what nutzow, but i think thats the sound i am after.big and very rich, the monitor accuracyof course will not be there, but the big band sound will be. :)  :)  :D  :)  :)

I'm not saying they blast...their fine speakers. But....you have to fit things right for your room and music. So lets see...15 x 18 room....30 watt amp....music...big band jazz ?

budget is what ever it takes, this train is off the tracks now.  i listen medium loud so you hear all.smaller room so closer to the speakers 13*17' room.your right with the last two lines deep-rich--warm with coherency to match amp.

i bought VSA VR4jr's with my amp, they are now for sale.they are good speakers at a good price point, but not my cup of tea.cheers

the jr's don't really sing softly as i would like, they lean a weee bit on the analytical side,i was interested in a bigger sound.i would like to be absolutely engulfed in music, the speakers must totally disappear..don't even know if they make a speaker that good.i would gladly sacrifice total transparency to a friendly voice that is non fatiquing and easy to listen and live with.someone mentioned the Zu Definitions, would these work???lost in a world of speakers, someone throw a life-line....

speakers i wish i could find the scratch for:Montana WAS,the guy wants 20k,Montana KAS,these are going for 10k.these sets look interesting and most likely be the last speakers i would have to buy, though you may know how that goes..nothing's forever.the D2 looks good for 14k,works well with the 300b.these are all crazy big and heavy.above prices are 50% or more off new price as they are used, thats the way i have to buy, unheard.their are a couple of regular speakers that spark interest;the Zu Definition and Vandy 5a.hard to find used.VSA VRsr's if my amp could power them, they do have the DB-99's.thks for help lonewolfny42 :)  :D  :)

as it sits it's 13 wide, but the wall can be moved out if need be.if larger speakers demand a bigger room i can move the wall over two to four feet . i think 13 feet is getting on the small side.i put a full wall shelf unit on the rear making the length 17. :)  :)  :D  :)  :)

The problem may be "watts"....it will limit your choices. The VAC is a good amp....but 30 watts may limit you to only a select few speakers.
Besides the jr's that you bought, what other speakers have you owned ?[/list:u]
