Experience with P8 + ref 9 and Dynaudio speakers
« on: 18 Mar 2006, 06:05 pm »
Hi there and hello to everyone from South of France as I'm all new on your forum!

I know that other members already refered to speaker association but I'd like to get more feedbacks (feelings, tests...) on the complete NuForce system plus a pair of Dynaudio S1.4 or even some C1.
From what I understand I'm pretty sure that the power is enough to drive a 86db speakers but are they a good partner.

I'll really appreciate your help on this as I'd like to update my system and because in my country Nuforce is no so common for the moment.

See U.
Rgds.

Sébastien.

Thanks Jason :D . I saw it as well but I'd like more inputs if feasible... Regarding the pics, I suppose that the match with Nuforce should be impressive.

In my region it is not so easy to find Nuforce + Dynaudio dealers therefore if I can get some thoughts before specially on the S1.4. Thanks a lot.

Mort de rire!

Already tried with the Nuforce? 'Cause I'm still in the thinking process before doing any configuration changes...

Tiesto,

If someone else wants to shares his feedbacks, inputs or thoughts  on those matching elements you would be more than welcome.
NB : sorry for our french chat.

Hi guys,

So many froggies here, I feel like being in a "mare".

I have Modwright+Nuforce 9+Dynaudio S5.4 and I can tell you that's the right match. Nu are powerful enough to drive S5.4.

If digital rocks your bones, I suggest something is wrong.  Why do you listen to music?  Analog provides it.  E-mail me, if you like. I will tell you the truth.  I have no interests-no preceived notions, per se.  I have no interest one way or the other.  I am coming from the truth.  Forget what you read.

Hey mmakshak - anyone who listens to Supertramp has no taste in music anyway.  You've forfeited your right to be taken seriously!

What else would one expect from a BOF who can't move on from 70s shiesse than an archconservative attitude towards innovations in hifi such as that you've just demonstrated?

I suggest that "Breakfast in America" is a very good album-both sides.  I've gotten a cd player.  It's an APL Denon 3910.  The reason my tastes are back in the "70's" is that I listen to analog from 1981 and earlier.  That can limit tastes!  Having a cd player should allow me to broaden my tastes, at least with respect to the date of recordings.

We'll have to agree to disagree on Supertramp, I'm afraid, mmakshak.

Most of my favourites are 60s and mid-70s, too, but my opinion is that while there were many great bands that came out of that time, there were some stinkers, also.  As to which were which...well, maybe our tastes don't coincide.  Good to see a difference of opinion without rancour, anyway!

Cheers!
