Just wanted to make a quick post and mention how much I'm enjoying my D200's. Of all the amps I've lived with, and the one's I've auditioned, of which there have been many, the D200's have captured my heart like never before. I'd like to take the time to write a detailed review, but I'm just too busy enjoying the music.

Thanks Dusty for bringing to market an amp that draws me into the music so much so, it defies critical analysis. And at real world prices to boot!

Lived with: Classe DR 25/ Air Tight ATM-2 push-pull tube amp/ Coda 10.5 ss/ Spectron Musician II ss/ Bel Canto SET 40 tube amp.


Auditioned:Classe Audio CA101,151,201/Bryston 4Bst , 7B st/ CJ MF2500/ Accuphase P450/ Pathos Classic One Mk.II/ Atma-sphere MA 1 Mk. II.2/ EAR 890/ Audio by Van Alstine, I forget which model, but it was one of the Fet Valve amplifiers.  I'm sure I'm missing something here.

Accupahse 65V cd player using digital volume control directly into D200's. Speakers are Selah Audio Excelarray's. Power cords are Virtual Dynamics Nite on mono blocks and Audition on cd player. IC and speaker cables are Crystal Clear Audio solid core silver.

Gary's room is also well treated and his system sounded very nice with the Spectron Musician II, so I'm guessing it must be singing very nicely with the D200's.  :thumb:

 Same thing I've been saying about the D-200's for months. Now maybe all the nonbelievers will finally get the picture.

I would love to buy these and give em a try,

however why only 1 year warranty ? =/
