Thanks Slush and Chris.  Chris - the snow stopped north of Binghamton, thank goodness.  Slush - you got that right.  I don't feel like I'm stuck in a vacuum chamber anymore.

When I got home and picked up the mail from my neighbor, there were several cds included.  Loved this album when it first came out, now I finally got the cd version.

If "Age of Consent" were the only song on that album it would still be worth full price  :thumb:

I'm back home from the Great White North.  Man, was it cold in Canada!

Where were you, Yellowknife?  Because it is pretty temperate around here at around 25 or 30 degrees.  Nobody here would call that cold...

I was in various places in Ontario - London, Hamilton, Solinas, Markham, Kingston and Toronto.  London had a lot of snow on the ground.  The temperatures fluctuated around 23 - 30 degrees (f) with lots of wind, making it feel much colder.  Compared that to high 30s with little wind in NYC before I headed north.

Yes, that song was the reason I bought the Lp when it came out in 1983.  I love the way Bernard Sumner is straining to sing the high notes on it.  The rest of the songs aren't too shabby either, especially Your Silent Face, Leave Me Alone, 586 and The Village.  It was also their first attempt to break away completely from their Joy Division period.   :thumb:
