This album is a bunch of remakes of their 60's tunes. At the time their original songs weren't available on cd. Purists don't like it but in reality the performances are good and very enjoyable.

my bud's system is far from hi-end, but it's certainly more revealing than typical beast-buy mid-fi. on my recommendation, he did get a tube buffer to put between the sirius receiver and the preamp; it makes it a bit more tolerable for background noise, but still completely unlistenable as a serious (no pun intended) music source....

Watched his soulful guy rock out on The Colbert Report and I was downloading this album before his song was over. His album language is raw but Stephen convinced Cee-Lo to change his 2010 hit title lyrics to Fox News.
