Some singers you just fall in love with.  For me it was Diana Krall, Eliane Elias... and now, Connie Evingson.  This may be the finest jazz singer I've ever heard.

If I had to guess..I would say some bum abandoned his/her shopping cart after they got run down by a drunk and/or 'texting' driver. Or maybe its abstract art of some sort.

And you down there...I did listen.
I hear a lot of Bootsy/Funkadelic in those 29 second snippets.
Maybe I can pick it up for one dollar at the Fair...I will look.  :no_see:

Silence  can be deafening.

Dean Schmidt, I know nothing

Quote
The thirty-something Norwegian reeds man is both a classical and jazz composer playing in the Copenhagen Saxophone Quartet, London Improvisers Orchestra, Trygve Seim Ensemble, and Among Machines with Thomas Stronen. Conic Folded is his debut featuring the saxophonist in a solo, duo, and trio setting with pianist Jon Balke (who has played with Arild Anderson and Magnetic North Orchestra) and bassist Jonas Westergaard (featured with Michael Blake's Blake Tartar).

The obvious connection here is to both Jimmy Giuffre and Evan Parker, for both sound and dedicated improvising. Snekkestad is a calm performer taking much off this music from an abstract and often decaffeinated perspective. His playing partners, also sympathetic, rarely push the pace, coloring with often shy textures and tones....http://www.allaboutjazz.com/php/article.php?id=32772

Happy music for a rainy day in NYC.  Yuk and dreary, but Los Campesinos makes me bright and cheery.
