Hard to go too far wrong with those folks. Thanks for the tip. Not the biggest soprano fan, but he's definetly one of the best. I had Belonging on vinyl at one time, will have to check.

Curious - what were your impressions of the remaster ? While I found there to be more defined separation, and better soundstage, I also found it to be a good bit harsher than the original release. Of all the remaster CDs I've picked up so far, this is really the only one I question with regards to being an improvement. Maybe it's just my system, ears ?
I had to look for Belonging,,, I couldn't find it under Jan Garbarek but that's cuz it was listed under Keith Jarrett Quartet. Thank God for J.River, makes looking stuff up easy. Cheers,Robin
Hey Robin,Eberhard has a new release with a somewhat new Colours group, called Colours . ECM is pretty proud of it, undoubtly import so I'll have to wait a bit to pick it up ($21+ used). His old crew of Rainier Bruninghaus, Jon Christensen, with John Marshal (at one time Soft Machine soprano sax) added. Eventually will have to get it, Weber is one of my all time favorites.
Yep - http://www.amazon.com/Colours-Eberhard-Weber/dp/B002Q8YBYK/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1285484585&sr=1-1Stages was one of my last purchases, excellent live recording imo. I haven't checked out the samples yet, but I've got most everything he's done, early on vinyl, later on CD. Ok, guess there's something to be said for scrolling down and reading all the info. Appears it's a 3 disc set, re-release of the earlier Colours issues. I wasn't aware Marshal had played with him back then (1975). Guess ya learn something every day if you are open to it.
I'll be keeping my eye out for this one for sure. When i get it, I'll probably be posting it. Cheers,Robin
