I much prefer 10cc than Sparks, both for their lyrics and melodies.

In a word, SWELL! Also my favorite concert this year, of the 20+ concerts I attended. A close second was the Norah Jones concert, even in the pouring rain - right Martin?

This one has been getting lots of play lately. Sounds more like an early 90's release.
For the younger folks, reminds me a bit of the Engineers. For the older folks,
makes me think of the Boo Radleys. Either way - great music

My daughter bought me the new Columbia Legacy's Kind of Blue CD and I listened earlier tonite. It includes alternate takes and tunes from another album from the day and very nice information about the goings on and the players in the notes. Recommend it. Very tactile imaging and clean, vibrant sound. Best I've heard short of Classic Record's analog release which is more relaxed, warm and soulful to me in my system and there is just something about the cymbals. My copy has an unbecoming noisy opening, however. A pretty good argument for the Legacy CD, gotta admit, besides the effort put into it and the result.
