Len,

LR is hard to categorize, but I definitely would not put him in alt/folk.  He's been around since the Dark Ages.  He's more of a 1940s crooner than an alt/folk singer.

Paul

Paul,

I do use the category a bit loosely. Mostly for singer/songwriters that are different, quirky & mostly acoustic. For me, Leon Redbone is a good example.

Likewise,,, sometimes it's a crapshoot of offsetting gendres that are included on an album which makes it impossible to pigeonhole, that's why I like to include track samples myself whenever possible.  :thumb:

Heard these guys first at AK Fest this last year in the Fritz room and floored me.  Personal fav is "Legend of the Black Shawarma".  But this one is really cool too.  Ridiculous depth and staging.

Well Bill you can believe it or you can call me a liar. That's your choice. But regardless, thanks for showing me the way to this album which now resides in my library.

Easy Robin - nobody is calling you a liar.

I think he is just shocked that you never heard an extremely popular album from Pink Floyd that was released 30+ years ago.

Enjoy the album.  It is one of my favorites from Pink Floyd.

George, why don't you try minding your own business instead of telling me what Bill is thinking. He's actually quite capable of telling me what he means. Thanks.
