vinyl lady - I hope you're posting during an intermission.  :o  So I'm guessing the Gorge @ George, same place ? An absolutely amazing venue. Haven't been in several years, since they reconfigured. Saw Traffic there several years back.

Have fun, enjoy, and be safe...   :thumb:

Thanks Robin. :thumb: Boy have things changed. When I was there the stage had a scaffold open web truss roof and that was it. You could see the bluffs behind, and the whole seating area above the flat area in front of the stage was tiered grass about 5' wide in steps up the hill 2/3s of the way. It's a beautiful view, and the sound is pretty amazing for a natural outdoor setting. I'd guess it's comparable to Red Rocks in CO from pics & videos I've seen, though maybe not quite as visually stunning.

Interesting timing Bill, my LP conversion buddy was talking about them the other day. Don't have any, but saw them once long ago at a festival (can't say I remember much). Can't think of anything Harvey's done I don't enjoy. The new stuff is good too.

According to All Music Guide they only did the one LP

Arthur,
Different venue than the Gorge. Maryhill Winery Amphitheater is on the WA side of the river about 15 miles east of The Dalles OR. I was at the Gorge last year. It is as you remember it. BTW, I posted using my Blackberry while enjoying a terrific artist and a nice glass of Merlot in my lo profile REI chair on a grass terrace looking down at the stage. I'll post on the concert when I get back to Spokane.
