Old jazz dogs . . who is this??

http://www.jazzopinions.com/Opinions.htm

Select track two.  I know what it is and you may as well (it is awhile before the pianist plays the theme- then you'll know) but not who is playing.  Anyone?  Thanks.

From Jazzopinions:
Quote
John Coates, Jr. "Nature Boy" from the album PIANO forte!! (Pacific Street Records 1994). I had the pleasure of hearing John one night/week for a month at a time every few months for awhile. Interesting. He was an early inspiration for Keith Jarrett who would occasionally sit in on drums at the Deer Head Inn where John was the house piano player for about 30 years.

Rolling Stones "Let It Bleed" on SHM-SACD from CD-Japan
This is by far my favorite Stones release and this SHM-SACD recording does it justice especially on the acoustic songs.

I'll listen to anything with Steve Howe playing, no matter how 80's it may sound. :thumb:

Acquired at the recent Vision Jazz Festival...
Quote
s the third disc from the drummer's leadership vehicle, Bindu, Reggaeology  continues the template set by its predecessors only inasmuch as it is completely different to what went before. Their eponymous debut featured four saxophones, stoked by the leader's drums, while Blissful (RogueArt 2008) was predicated upon spontaneously generated string and percussion grooves, and devotional declamations. This time out, while the recitations—by either Maddox or Drake—remain, they are slung from reggae beats with a two-'bone horn section. Also gathered under the Bindu umbrella are fellow Windy City fixtures Jeff Parker  on guitar and Josh Abrams on bass and guimbri.
