If you like Randy Newman...
"Faust" did not sell well. I liked it, especially the dialogue between James Taylor and Randy. When I was cruising Amazon, I saw that there was a new version with a second cd of Newman doing the songs solo/demos.

I think it is only available on a "My Name Is Earl" soundtrack.

Wow, that's the first time I've heard about it. I can see him being one of the few that could pull it off without turning it into a parody. I'll keep an eye out for it. Thanks

John Hiatt - Stolen Moments (1990)

Although my two favorite John Hiatt songs are on "Slow Turning"
I think this is his best overall album. It just flows effortlessly.
